Thanks to the work DJ has done with Tendaji, GiveBLK, and his personal brand, his colleagues nominated him for the Forbes 30 Under 30. His nomination gave him the opportunity to attend the Forbes Under 30 Summit in Cleveland, OH.

Black Ambition Prize Winner

DJ’s fashion technology venture, Tendaji, was named a Prize Winner for Pharrell Williams’s Black Ambition. As Black Ambition Prize Winner, Tendaji received $20,000 in non-dilutive capital alongside jumpstart opportunities such as an immersive two-day workshop with Louis Vuitton and Microsoft’s #MakeWhatsNext Patent Program.

NASDAQ Billboard Feature

Black Girl Ventures founder, Omi Bell, invited DJ as a BGV alum to celebrate Omi’s milestone in ringing NASDAQ’s closing bell. While the ceremony was in progress, photographers captured DJ savoring the moment.
